The FSA has appointed two senior advisers, Graeme Hardie and Ian Marshall, to take responsibility for retail markets and wholesale insurance respectively.
Hardie, who will work on a part time basis, will take on the role of providing advice on UK retail banking issues. He replaces Naguib Kheraj, who steps down from his advisory role at the FSA at the end of September, following his appointment to a full-time role at JP Morgan Cazenove. Most recently, Hardie was executive director at Abbey National, from 2005-2007. Prior to that, he spent 27 years at RBS Group starting in the branch network at Royal Bank of Scotland before moving on to become managing director at Natwest Retail Banking.
