THE Association of Investment Companies (AIC) has suggested the credit crunch and stock market turbulence may have increased opportunities for VCTs.
The AIC collated the views of a number of managers and found the outlook positive. Mark Wignall, chief executive of Matrix Private Equity Partners and manager of the Matrix Income and Growth range of VCTs, said: "This is a great time for VCTs. Dividend track records are improving each year and it is looking like an ideal time to invest." Bernard Fairman, managing partner of Foresight Group, agreed.
