TRI plans Asian real estate fund launch

TRI Investments is planning to launch an Asian Real Estate fund focusing on both the residential and commercial property markets.

The portfolio will invest directly and indirectly in properties located principally within South Korea, northeast China and Japan. The fund is targeting annual returns in excess of 10pc, measured over rolling five-year periods. The investment boutique has appointed Doran Capital Partners as investment adviser to the fund. Chris Finch, CEO of TRI Investments, asserted that the current volatility in investment markets warranted the inclusion of a lowly-correlated fund within a diversified portfolio to help manage risk and bolster returns.
