GUINNESS Asset Management has launched the Guinness Alternative Energy fund, replicating the group's existing US vehicle.
The fund, a UCITS III Dublin OEIC, will invest in listed equities in the alternative energy sector, particularly companies involved in the manufacture and development of energy generation from non fossil fuel sources and those focused on energy efficiency. The universe of stocks comprises companies with at least 50pc of their activities in these areas and with market capitalisations in excess of $100m.
