Investors 'bullish on global emerging markets'

The ratings agency’s recent Emerging Markets Sentiment Survey revealed most investors believed the second half of 2007 looked more positive for emerging markets, with only 5pc stating they would become more bearish on the sector. Over half of the respondents were also upbeat about the outlook for local currency debt for the remainder of the year, and tellingly 73pc of the fund managers questioned said they expected their assets under management in emerging securities to increase.
