Report finds advisers still indifferent to RDR

The latest wave of research conducted by data provider Assureweb has suggested that advisers are indifferent to the potential implications the RDR will have on their business.

The findings show that 75pc of advisers are not concerned about how the RDR could them over the coming year, whilst 10pc claimed to be ignorant of any possible impact. Mark Wilson, head of propositions at Assureweb, commented: "The considerable apathy amongst advisers towards the industry review demonstrated by our findings is a concern we must address. Ultimately this review represents a huge opportunity for advisers to shape the way they structure their businesses."
