The FSA's Retail Mediation Activities Return (RMAR) regulatory reporting system has encountered difficulties in the early stages of its launch.
GABRIEL - which collects, validates and stores regulatory data - is being rolled out to intermediaries and personal investment firms throughout October and November. This is to ensure that firms are submitting accurate information to the FSA in their RMAR following the canvassing of 200 small firms which revealed a dearth of accurate and up-to-date information.
