Shares up for Aberdeen opps

THE net asset value per share of the Aberdeen Growth Opportunities VCT 2 has risen from 100.06p to 109p following the sale of three holdings.

The most recent sale was Styles & Wood Holdings, which Bill Nixon, manager of the VCT sold when it listed on the London Stock Exchange. The sale generated £800,000, Aberdeen said. Last month further sales of two unlisted companies, Bond Aviation Solutions for £420,000 and Vibration Technology for £339,000, helped grow the NAV to 109p per share as of October 31. Aberdeen said this represented growth of 6.3pc since the previous valuation in June.
