INVESTMENT management company Smith & Williamson has launched its own SIPP.
Mike Fosberry, a director at the firm, said it was set up in response to the rising interest rates in this investment region following pension simplification, and is “competitively priced and relevant”. Basic SIPP fees are £250 for the initial set-up costs, with a £300 annual fee, both subject to VAT. Smith & Williamson Investment Management fees within the standard SIPP are set at 1pc plus VAT on the first £1m and on a reducing scale after that.
