IFP launches Financial Planning Week

The Institute of Financial Planning is launching Financial Planning Week, a national initiative aimed at raising consumer awareness of the need to think about and plan for their financial well being.

Scheduled to kick-off on 8 September, the week's events will be entirely consumer facing and the IFP's aim is to give focus and momentum to an initiative which hitherto has been unco-ordinated, said IFP CEO Nick Cann. "This a generic and impartial campaign built around the consumer, aimed at raising awareness of financial planning. We will focus on what can be delivered, provide tools and accessories for consumers' use, and encourage the UK public to take action to improve their position," said Cann.
