BDO Stoy Hayward makes multi-manager appointments

BDO Stoy Hayward Investment Management has made three senior appointments to its alternatives fund of funds team.

John Smutniak joins as portfolio manager, while Dev Jadeja and Rahul Saito have taken up roles as hedge fund analysts. Smutniak was previously at Lyonross Capital Management, where he was portfolio manager of a number of alternative fund of funds. He has a background in journalism having spent four years at the Economist covering economics and the financial markets. His experience also includes two years researching global mining companies at Harvard and four years with consultancy Charles River in Boston.
