Retail version of SJP/Jupiter Cautious fund launched

ST James's Place (SJP) has launched a unit trust version of its existing life and pensions SJP/Jupiter Cautious fund.

Jupiter’s Ian McVeigh is lead manager of the fund, which will consist of 45pc fixed interest and 55pc equities of which the bulk will be UK equities, managed by McVeigh. Around 10pc will be invested in Alex Darwall’s Jupiter European fund and 5pc in Elena Shaftan’s Jupiter Emerging European Opportunities fund. The fixed income portion of the portfolio will consist of UK government and corporate bonds and will be managed by Jupiter’s John Hamilton.
