Schroder launches global equity income fund

SCHRODER is the latest fund house to go global in the search for income with a new fund launch.

The investment manager is to launch the Schroder Global Equity Income fund on May 18. It will be managed by Sonja Schemmann, who already runs an offshore European income portfolio for the company. The fund will have a target yield of the 2pc above that of the MSCI All Countries World index. Schemmann will have the freedom to invest across regions and market cap scale. She will also seek to limit volatility to less than that of the market.
