iShares launches fixed income ETFs

iShares has rolled out two new fixed income ETFs tracking global inflation-linked gilts and European covered bonds.

The iShares Global Inflation-Linked bond provides investors with exposure to the Barclays World Government Inflation-Linked Bond index, and offers protection against global inflation in a single trade. The index comprises 90 bonds from 10 different countries and seven currencies. This product will sit alongside the iShares € Inflation-Linked bond, £ Index-Linked gilts and $ TIPS ETFs. Meanwhile the iShares € Covered bond provides investors with liquid exposure to a range of European covered bonds based on the Markit iBoxx € Covered index.
