M&G property offering continues commercial bias

THE M&G Property Portfolio continues to favour commercial properties with the completion of an off-market purchase of two offices.

The offices, located in Eastleigh in the South East of England, were purchased for over £21m. They are let to NDS – a provider of conditional access software to the satellite television industry – for almost 10 years. The acquisition of an office in Soho, Central London, marks the fund’s first foray into West End commercial property. The £18m office is predicted to offer good investment potential through a redevelopment programme.
