Clerical Medical launches A-Day calculator

The calculator provides a visual aid for advisers to use in providing the best options with their clients, and comes in the wake of a successful business guide, launched at the end of October, while attaching itself to a site specifically launched for IFAs offering advice and guidance on pre-A-Day issues. The tool calculates an estimated pension fund value at the selected retirement age (SRA), the tax-free lump sum available at the SRA and any recovery charges that may apply, for all three protection options (enhanced, primary or no protection).
