Investor confidence in the stock market is showing little sign of returning, research suggests.
A survey conducted by LV= shows only 3% of Brits have definite plans to invest in the stock market, despite 16m believing it may be a good time to do so. Just 11% are 'considering' investing in the stock market whilst the majority - 83% - say they have no plans to act. LV= says it is concerned the lack of optimism will mean people will miss opportunities in the market, including this year's tax-free ISA allowance and growing potential for significant long-term gains on their investments.
