Black to head Insight equity team

Sandy Black is leaving his role as head of European equities at Deutsche and moving to Insight Investment next month to head up its equity management committee.

Having spent four years in his current role and 10 years at Deutsche Asset Management, Black will from November 15th report to chief investment officer Abdallah Nauphal but lead an equity team of over staff as well as chair the equity management team. Black will sit on the committee alongside John Bearman, head of UK equities, David Marchant, head of international equities, Richard Wiseman head of European equities, Nick Anderson, head of research and Mark Winter who is head of equity dealing.
