The Pensions Regulator has published guidance on voluntary employer engagement in group personal pensions (GPPs).
The guidance provides support to employers who offer a contract-based defined contribution (DC) pension scheme by identifying ways in which they might involve themselves in scheme governance. It also considers employer engagement options and describes the specific functions an employer may like to consider for review. It also includes case studies to give employers practical examples of effective engagement.
