CII predicts IFA apprenticeship boom

The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) says 2009 will be "a breakthrough year" for apprenticeships in the insurance and financial advice sectors.

CII relationship manager Caspar Bartington says the addition of Elmfield Training to the CII group of accredited providers will greatly help meet the significant increase in apprenticeship demand from employers. Elmfield Training this week became the latest firm to receive CII accreditation, enabling it to provide apprenticeship programmes in retail financial services.
