8 out of 10 advisers prefer mortgages online

Eight out of ten mortgage intermediaries say the ease of dealing online is an important factor when selecting the best mortgage product on the market, according to research from Unipass.

A recent user-profiling survey commissioned by Origo and conducted by consultancy bdifferent found while 85% of advisers expect the amount of mortgage business they transact online to grow in the future. More specifically, Origo reveals among the comments acquired through the survey, one user said they would be “annoyed with any lenders that were still using the old system” and “all other things being equal, it would put me off going to them".
