Former HBOS director joins Aegon executive team

Aegon UK has appointed former head of HBOS's corporate division, Adrian Grace, as group development director.

Grace will take a major role in developing Aegon's variable annuities business across Europe and will take overall responsibility for the insurer's distribution strategy. Aegon says it wants to capitalise on opportunities available to advisers following the RDR, and Grace will play a key role in these plans moving forwards, working with Positive Solutions' Jim Reeve and Origen's Stephen Greenstreet to achieve these goals.
