IFAs failing to take 'golden opportunity'

Financial advisers are missing out on a "golden opportunity" to promote their businesses in the height of the financial crisis, IFA Life says.

According to the online networking site, only “one or two” IFAs have taken steps to put themselves forward as financial experts with television or radio appearances. IFA Life adds the government’s multi billion pound bank support package, combined with the 0.5% interest rate cut, represents a step forward in rebuilding confidence in the banking system, financial markets and amongst consumers. “We have seen one or two IFAs starting to appear on television reports to offer learned comment and expertise, but most are missing out on the publicity that they could be gaining from the continue...
