Friends to enter the wrap market

Friends Provident is planning to enter the wrap market within the next 12 months and is using one of the big names in Australia to build its technology.

FriendsProv says it is being designed as a “comprehensive wrap wealth management platform for affluent investors” which will provide users with access to onshore and offshore bonds, sipps, Isas and a cash account. Bravura – the company behind IFA group Nucleus’ wrap platform – is said to in final negotiations to design and create the main wrap software while Distribution Technology will link in the financial planning tools and Rhyme Systems will deliver the investment administration.
