The latest FSA report on mortgage endowment complaints handling is a story of two halves, according to evidence put forward by the regulator.
Starting with the negative, it appears almost half (22) the 52 biggest firms in the sector, representing some 90% of business, are still not handling complaints in the best way possible. The FSA says in its document Mortgage endowments: Delivery higher standards it has sufficient “concerns” on this issue to order 10 out of the 22 identified to not only improve their complaints handling, but actually review cases already handled.
