FSA appoints duo to director positions

The FSA has appointed Colin Lawrence as director of its newly created Prudential Risk division.

Lawrence joins from IBM, where he led the GBS Risk Management and Compliance (Greater China and Asia Pacific) division. Prior to IBM, Lawrence was a managing director at both Barclays Capital and UBS. The regulator has also announced Paul Sharma will become director of wholesale and prudential policy.
