Data service warns when homeowners will move

The UK's first tool which is said to help financial services companies accurately identify when customers are about to move home has been launched by technology provider GB Group.

The 4C-UK data service is designed to enable financial services providers approach customers at a time they are most likely to be considering loans, mortgages, insurance and other products. GB Group says its research reveals 1.3m people who move home each year spend an average of £15,000 in the first 12 months after moving. But, a third of these people neglect to tell any company they deal with of their move.
