The majority of financial advisers say retirement planning is their clients' most pressing financial concern, according to a survey by Prudential.
The survey of 200 advisers reveals 54% say retirement planning and retirement income is top of their clients’ financial concerns. More specifically, 40% of advisers say not saving enough for retirement is their clients’ biggest worry, while 33% say poor performance of a pension fund is their clients’ biggest concern. The second most pressing concern is inheritance tax (IHT) planning, with 16% of advisers saying clients are trying to negate the impact of IHT.
