Royal London appoints credit fund manager

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has appointed Paola Binns as a credit fund manager.

She will take up her post on August 13 and report to Jonathan Platt, RLAM’s head of fixed interest. Binns joins from Credit Suisse Asset Management (CSAM), where she worked as fixed income portfolio manager for six years. She was also a member of CSAM’s global credit committee and UK strategy group. Before moving to Credit Suisse she worked as an emerging market salesperson at Austrian bank Raiffeisen Zentralbank from 1998. She also spent four years as a sovereign European debt trader at option funds group Paine Webber International after starting her career at US securities firm Kid...
