Winterthur individual pension sales grow 74%

Winterthur's individual pension sales have grown 74% in the six months to the end of June, according to the provider's interim results.

Individual pension sales have reached £1.05bn, an increase on £603m in the same period last year. The company’s assets under management have risen £1.67bn since the second quarter of 2006 to £11.15bn. Single premium personal pension sales have increased 132% to £568m, up £324m in the same period last year. Meanwhile, income withdrawal sales have grown 215% to £286m, up from £91m in the same period last year.
