AToM branches out into general insurance

Assurant Intermediary has teamed up with All Types of Mortgages (AToM) to provide the packager with general insurance (GI) products.

AToM users will have access to buildings and contents, payment protection and mortgage protection insurance products. Kevin Paterson, sales and marketing director at Assurant, says: "By broadening its product range to include general insurance, AToM will be able to help mortgage introducers create valuable new revenue streams at a time when they are having to make up for lost income in the current tough climate."
