LV= appoints group director of finance

LV=, the insurer formerly Liverpool Victoria, has appointed Keith Abercromby as group director of finance.

He will report to group chief executive Mike Rogers, who joined LV= from Barclays last month. Abercromby, who starts work today, replaces Roy Spragg, current group director of finance. Spragg will leave before the end of the year after working with Abercromby through a transition. Abercromby previously worked as finance director of Aviva’s Norwich Union Life division. Before joining Aviva he held roles at HBoS including managing director of Halifax Life, finance director of HBoS financial services and finance director of HBoS’s insurance and investment division.
