Fidelity launches onshore EMEA fund

Fidelity International has launched an OEIC version of its offshore EMEA fund, targeting the demand for commodities based investment.

Managed by Nick Price, the UK domiciled fund aims to generate long-term capital growth investing primarily in companies with activity in Central, Eastern and Southern Europe (including Russia), the Middle East and Africa. The fund will typically hold between 50 and 70 stocks and is benchmarked against the MSCI Emerging EMEA Index. Fidelity says Price will not be constrained to the benchmark, allowing investment in countries such as Bulgaria, Estonia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Oman, Qatar, Romania, Slovenia and the United Arab Emirates Price says UK investors will benefit from the com...
