FSA arrests six for insider dealing

The FSA today arrested five men and one woman, aged between 27 and 34, in connection with an ongoing investigation into suspected organised insider dealing.

Search warrants were also executed at eight addresses in London and Essex as part of the investigation. The operation was jointly carried out by the FSA and the City of London Police Economic Crime Directorate (ECD) as part of the regulator's work to tackle market abuse. This is the third set of arrests linked to organised insider dealing in the last 12 months, although none of the sets are believed to be connected.
