Standard Life Investments' (SLI) Global Absolute Return Strategies fund (GARS) has smashed through the £500m barrier in assets under management since its launch in June 2006.
With total assets now standing at over £609m, the fund has attracted more than £255m of new investment in 2008 alone. In May, SLI made the product available to UK retail investors and has already attracted more than £40m in retail assets. Additionally, the fund was ranked among the top 50 selling funds on both the Cofunds and FundsNetwork platforms.
