Liberty launches PI team for advisers

A new team to meet advisers' professional indemnity(PI) needs has been launched by Liberty International Underwriters Europe (LIU Europe), a division of Liberty Mutual Group.

The IFA team will be led by Paul Freeman, assistant vice president of the firm, who joined LIU Europe in March. He will be supported by underwriter Sam Goodier and underwriting assistant Alex Jones, who both joined the company in January. IFA market expert Glyn Morris will work with LIU Europe as a consultant. Liberty's newly-formed team will report into Alan Telford, head of PI for Europe and the business will initially be written out of London for UK-based clients.
