Zurich launches green account

Zurich is set to offer a guaranteed account linked to the green business sector.

The Zurich Green Guaranteed Account will allow investors to benefit from 100% of any growth in the RBS Green Index, which includes companies specialising in green sectors such as biotechnology, solar and wind energy. Investors' interest in the green sector is increasing, according to Paul Wright, investment management director at Zurich. “More and more people are interested in the environment and the businesses that operate in that sector," he says.
