SLI to place renewed focus on ITs

Gordon Humphries is moving from F&C to Standard Life Investments to head up a development role of its investment trust business.

The former deputy head of investment trusts at F&C Asset Management is moving to SLI “to develop its closed end fund business” and work on the development of contracts for new IT business. His appointment will mainly affect institutional business Humphries will have responsibility for leading and developing Standard Life Investments’ closed end funds business, including investment trusts and limited partnerships, but he will also be working alongside George Walker, head of UK institutional business.
