BNP Paribas targets IFA market

BNP Paribas has announced it is making a "strategic push" into the UK IFA market by launching a range of products and services.

The group is embarking on an integration programme across its UK brands and plans to roll out a broad range of IFA-focused services over the coming year. Beginning with a new portal for financial advisers, www.ifa.bnpparibas.co.uk, BNP Paribas says it plans to make it easy for advisers to access its products and remove the burden of dealing with many different points of contact. In early 2009, BNP's Cardif Pinnacle brand will launch a SIPP product supported by the firm's wrap platform.
