Six new exams have been announced by the CII covering areas of general insurance, with first exams set to take place in April 2005.
The exams will provide Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Insurance qualifications, depending on the complexity of the subject. Areas covered are: Healthcare insurance products Insurance Law London market underwriting Operational management Property claims handling Subsidence claims handling The CII says all exams will last between 2 to 3 hours, consisting of one or more of the following: multiple-choice, short answer, case studies or essays.
