Standard Life dominates mass SIPP market

Standard Life has become the top provider in the mass SIPP market, according to research by software company Mastek.

The research shows Standard Life has become the first choice SIPP provider with 28% of IFAs, followed by Transact with 13% and Suffolk Life with 11%. However, specialist SIPP providers scored higher than Standard Life in individual categories. AJ Bell tops the table with an average score of 4.2, followed by Suffolk Life with 4.1 points and Hornbuckle and Transact with four points. Skandia scored the lowest on average, with 3.4 points.
