FTSE down on Schroder slide

The FTSE 100 is slightly behind this morning as the struggle continues for financials, the index is currently 23.60 points lower (0.36%) to 6474.20.

Schroders is leading the losses, down 2% to 1325; while Rexam has lost some of yesterday's gains inspired by a non-executive director's share purchase, currently 1.66% down to 414.50. Barclays and Standard Life are 1.56% and 1.55% lower, to 504 and 253.50 respectivelly. The London Stock Exchange Group and Thomas Cook are both 0.72% higher, to 1960 and 280.25. In New York, no winners were recorded on the Dow Jones IA, with the index closing Thursday down 192.08 points (1.42%) to 13359.61. Financials again suffered, with American Express down 3.4% to 51.10, JPMorgan Chase falling 2.8...
