Chartwell to launch funds hot list

Chartwell is launching a recommended funds list on its online direct investment tool the Investor Centre, the provider tells IFAonline .

James Davies, investment research manager at Chartwell, says the tool will become available to clients in the next month. The tool will list 31 funds in categories including UK equities, the US and Japan. Chartwell will review the list quarterly and could add up to five funds each quarter. Davies says: “We’re not giving advice with these funds, we’re giving guidance.” The provider also hopes to launch a risk profiling tool on the Investor Centre by the end of the year.
