Just Retirement sales grow by 127%

Specialist UK life assurance group, Just Retirement, has announced that sales in the past twelve months have risen 127% on the previous financial year.

Total sales for the year to 30 June 2007 were £676.8m, compared with just £297.9m in the same period a year earlier. Sales for the second quarter of 2007 hit £202m, an increase of 23% on the previous quarter. Commenting on the results, chief executive Mike Fuller says: “We have maintained strong sales momentum and robust Group margins across our business despite the substantial rise in long term interest rates, further highlighting the strength of our complementary product set.” The firm says that growing confidence in the enhanced annuities and equity release market among consumers and ...
