The Association of IFAs says the Government must consider the need for advice on personal accounts before the scheme can be fully embraced.
AIFA praised both the Government’s response to last December’s consultation on personal accounts and the report published by the Work and Pensions Select Committee. But the association says it only provided a “direction” and suggests the Government still has work to do. The Government last Thursday outlined the workings of personal accounts both up until their introduction in 2012 and beyond.
