Human resources consultant, Mellon has announced the dates of its training courses, tackling the Pensions Act 2004 coming into force next week under a new Regulator.
Mellon says the course highlights the requirements under the new Pensions Act 2004, containing new statutory duties for specific knowledge by trustees including aspects of applicable law, funding principles and investment. The firm says that failure to carry out the new statutory duties carries the potential for personal penalties. vParticular attention will be paid to non-professional trustees, helping them reconcile conflicting claims on their time, while ensuring the running of effective schemes.
