The Pensions Regulator has released an annuity booklet for pension scheme members approaching retirement.
The publication entitled ‘Your retirement choices - defined contribution occupational pension schemes,’ provides a guide to help those people attached to an annuity who are close to retirement. Starting yesterday, it is now a legal requirement for trustees of defined contribution (DC) occupational pension schemes to inform scheme members approaching retirement of the various options available to them.
