Friends Provident's new CEO Trevor Matthews has today officially joined the company.
Matthews reports to work for the first time after the enforced six month break following his move from Edinburgh-based rival Standard Life. Friends Provident has also announced former Equitable Life chief finance and investment officer Charles Bellringer will join as interim CFO on 4 August. His role will be full-time and he is expected to be at the company until a permanent officer is appointed.
