British Sky Broadcasting Group rose 17.5 points, or 2.58%, to 694.5p. National Grid rose 15 points, or 2.09%, to 731.5p. Reckitt Benckiser rose 41 points, or 1.5%, to 2774p. Smith & Nephew rose 7.5 points, or 1.24%, to 612p. Alliance & Leicester rose 13 points, or 1.17%, to 1120p. Kazakhmys fell 82 points, or 6.79%, to 1125p. Man Group fell 38 points, or 6.73%, to 527p.
