First State to launch EM Sustainability fund

First State Investments has launched a new Global Emerging Markets Sustainability fund into the UK and Europe.

Managed by David Gait and Jonathan Asante, the fund will utilise the expertise of First State's highly-regarded Asia Pacific and emerging markets equities team - which includes Angus Tulloch. Global Emerging Markets Sustainability will hold about 50 to 60 stocks, with an approximately 50% overlap to First State's existing Asia Pacific Sustainability vehicle.
